1-on-1 Support - online private consults with Pooch Parenting

Could you use some custom family dog support, from one parent to another?

I know it may seem hard to believe, but dog training and behavior consults do not require an in-home visit. Video sessions are safe, convenient, and I can see your dog in his or her natural environment, without the distraction of me being in the room.

I can help you if:

  • You want to get your dog ready for a new baby
  • You are worried about your child or dog’s safety
  • You just brought home a new baby and are worried about how your dog is responding
  • You plan on adding a dog to your family and want to make a good choice
  • You want help setting up your home for your new puppy
  • You have a new dog or puppy and don’t know where to start
  • You want to learn how to deal with some frustrating or challenging dog behavior

How Does This Work?

I always begin my 1-on-1 programs with a Jump Start Consultation. Once I hear more about your circumstances, I will recommend how to help you reach your goals.

Here is what’s included in the initial consultation:

  • I’ll ask you lots of questions so that I can understand your dog’s behavior and your goals
  • I will share my assessment of your dog’s behavior and the possible outcomes
  • We will discuss my services and how I can help you to reach your goals
  • I’ll give you some management strategies that you can use immediately that will hold you over until our next session, should we decide that’s our best route to achieve your desired outcomes

What’s Required for a Video Session?

You’ll need a reliable internet connection, a smartphone or basic computer knowledge and a webcam / microphone.

  • Sessions cost $195/hour
  • Discounted packages are available. We will discuss this option during the initial consultation.
  • Payment is expected in advance
I never doubted you, but our online sessions exceeded my expectations. It hardly mattered that we weren't together in person. The only challenge was that I know how much you wanted to snuggle my puppy!
