Dog Boarding in my Sunriver Home
Worry less about where your dog will stay when you travel, and spend more time planning a trip you'll remember for a lifetime.
Leaving Your Dog Behind is Hard When You Travel
But I’ll give your well-behaved dog a soft place to land
- After 7 years as a dog professional, I know a thing or two about how to help dogs to feel safe and happy.
- I’m a certified fear-free dog professional, which means I will never use aversive tools on your dogs, such as prong collars or shock collars
- Your dog will live in my home, alongside my two beloved small dogs
- I see my clients virtually, which means that I work from home, allowing me to spend more time with your dog when they are staying with me.
When your dog stays with me…
- They will have quality time with me and my two dogs (lots of play, rest and snuggles included, of course).
- We will explore the beautiful nature surrounding our Sunriver home, such as bike trails, riverside walks and exploration in the forest.
- On our adventures outside, your dog will be on leash or on a long-line, when appropriate. For puppies whose vaccine series is not finished, we may use a stroller for some of our outings.
- We know how important nap time is for dogs – so we will build in some downtime into our schedule.
The Nitty Gritty…
- I do not accept all dogs into my exclusive boarding program. Because I am welcoming your dog into my home, only dogs who are well behaved and social with both people and dogs are encouraged to stay.
- Priority will be given to dogs 35 pounds and under.
- A meet and greet is required to ensure we are all a good fit.
- The cost to board dogs over the age of 1 year is $125/calendar day. This is NOT a board and train program – they are guests in our home.
- Puppies under the age of 1 year cost $175/calendar day. This includes basic training and safe socialization outings.
- I require proof of at least two sets of DHPP vaccines for puppies.
- Because my younger female dog is intact, males over the age of 7 months must be neutered.
- All dogs bark, and that’s ok! But I prefer not to share my home with a dog who will rub my neighbors the wrong way with excessive barking.
- Drop off at our house is between 8 am and 3 p.m. to allow your pup time to adjust before bedtime.
- Pickup is between 8 am and 5 pm.
- If you are interested, please use the green button below to send me an email introducing yourself, your dog (pictures are welcome!) and the dates you are interested in. If I am available, I’ll send you a Pre-Boarding Questionnaire to gather more information to see if we would be a good fit.
You have been a lifesaver with Sasha! I was so stressed out about not being able to take her with us. The photos you sent of her looking so happy helped us to relax and to enjoy our time away.
