30. Ava’s Pet Palace – 13 yo Entrepreneur

30. Ava’s Pet Palace – 13 yo Entrepreneur

This week, I talk with Ava, the 13-year old founder of Ava’s Pet Palace, an organic treat company for dogs and cats. Ava’s vision for her business started when she was only 6 years old…but at age 8, her parents knew she was serious and helped her to launch her dream. Ava encourages everyone to follow their dream, no matter what their age, and says that passion is the key to pushing through bumps in the road along the way. Ava is a true inspiration no matter how old you are – Enjoy.

Ava wanted to introduce herself

My name is Ava and I love animals! I love them so much that five years ago, after two years of constantly asking my parents, I started my business, Ava’s Pet Palace. Since then, I’ve been making organic and all-natural dog and cat treats. I make small batch pet treats with simple ingredients to keep pets happy, healthy, and feeling great.  After several years of hard work, my business really took off last June thanks to a lot of kind people who shared my story on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. I have customers in all 50 states and Canada. And I’ve even shipped my treats to the UK and New Zealand! With the help of my mom, who now works for Ava’s Pet Palace full time, we process 300-400 orders online each month. My purpose is to make the world better for pets, people and our planet. My start is to make sure all pets and pet parents have access to healthy organic, natural pet treats.

Ava provides her customers with a sense of pride, confidence and reassurance of being good pet parents by buying their furry friend nourishing treats with high-quality ingredients.

Started by Ava at just 8 years old, this 13- year-old entrepreneur is on a mission to educate pet owners about pet food and help them explore options that simultaneously promote animal health and taste-bud satisfaction.
