The last thing I want to see is a family feeling so desperate that they feel that they have to bring their dog to the animal shelter. It goes without saying that sometimes life happens – a family experiences a divorce or a death in the family. But more often than we’d care to admit, dogs are brought to the shelter because families are simply drowning in the chaos of parenting dogs and kids at the same time and the dynamics can become unsafe.
